热爱海外网购的朋友注意了！明年1月1日起只要你从海外网购500令吉以下低价值商品（LVG）都得支付政府征收的10%销售税！这项措施是为了应对海外网购与本地实体店面对的不平等征税问题。现在（2023年）下单，明年收到货品则无需支付10%销售税。
财政部表示，凡是在未来12个月，要进口低价值商品到马来西亚，价值超过50万令吉的本地及海外商家，可以通过mylvg.customs.gov.my网站，申请在2022年销售税（修正）法令下进行注册。
对所有通过海陆空运输到大马的价值500令吉以下低价值商品，征收10%销售税，不包括香烟、烟草产品、酒精饮料及烟斗，因为这些商品都已经征收了进口税、国内税及销售税。
